Specialist Notes
A rare and complete example. The splendid plates, all in very fresh condition and with very wide margins, testify to the author's exquisite artistic sensibility, which captured Neapolitan landscapes and views, some never before reproduced, such as the plate entitled "Port de Piano di Sorrento. " The ten lively and interesting vignettes featuring scenes of Neapolitan folk life and typical characters.
