A splendid and rare vernacular edition, enriched by commentaries by Fabrini, Malatesta, and Venuti. The work reproduces the woodcuts from the 1519 edition, inspired by the illustrations in the famous Strasbourg print by Grüninger in 1502. Furthermore, Book VI of the Aeneid alone is adorned with twelve woodcuts taken from Vellutello's edition of the Commedia, published by Marcolini in 1544.
