At the bottom, a dragon with its severed head, motto: Invidia fortitudine superatur. Delicate restorations on the title page. 18th-century full parchment binding.

First edition of Dolce's translation and the first in Italian with the three books of the fourth decade which contain, among other things, the interesting reference to Columbus and his dynastic ancestry.
