Turin, V. Bona, 1883. In 4th. Two cards of dedication to Umberto I by the author, illustrated by 32 plates reproduced in phototype, each protected by tissue paper, editorial stamps, binding in blue morocco, plates framed by a double fillet frame, spine with 4 raised bands with title, decoration embossed in gold, some scratches, slight loss of color to the front plate.
Specialist Notes
Limited edition specimen, ours is the n.6. The flyleaf handwritten dedication to "S.A.R. The Duchess of Genoa, homage by Pietro Carlevaris". On the front pastedown ex ibris" library of "S.A.r. , the Prince Tommaso di Savoia, Duke of Genoa" on paper tile surmounted by a crown.
