Frontispiece designed by Eisen and finely engraved in copper by de Launay, elegant engraved headers and friezes, missing booklets from a⁴-R⁴, woodworm work on the inner margin from E1 to the end of the volume, slight foxing on the edges, some leaves slightly browned, modern binding in half leather with title and author embossed in gold on the spine with 5 raised bands, phytomorphic friezes on the compartments, some scratches on the plates. § Together in the lot Eisen [Pezay (le Marquis de)].L'heureux jour, epitre a mon ami, Paris, Veuve Duchesne, 1768. In 8°. Title page, 1 full-page plate and two copper-engraved vignettes by Eisen, modern binding with title imprinted within a red label on the smooth spine, gilt edges.
