Rome, Salvioni, 1742. In 8th. Vignette depicting Ecce Homo on the title page, text printed in red and black, full-page illustrations and copper-engraved vignettes in the text, slight flourishes, beautiful coeval brown leather binding richly embossed in gold with a frame of purfling and wheels, phytomorphic angular motifs and large inner rotella with palmettes, central medallion with instruments of the passion on the front plate and the Agnus Dei on the back plate, spine with 6 raised bands in gold with scrolls and palmettes, dentelles, edges gilt and decorated with instruments of the passion in colored tempera, some slight abrasions, lower cuff lacunose.
