Typographic brand of Filippo Giunti, woodcut drop caps, in the margin of the title page small gap that does not affect the printing mirror, light browning, some stains, original parchment binding, smooth handwritten title on the spine, slight stains. Old hand signature on title page. § Book [...] of illustrious women. Florence, Filippo Giunta, 1596. In 8°. Printer's mark on the title page and at the end, portrait of the Author on paper + 8v, and portrait of a woman on paper 2V4r, all woodcut, foxing, defects on title page, light browning, vellum binding of the time, handwritten title on the spine, minor defects.
