Information
Venice, Aldo Manuzio and Andrea Torresano, 1514. In 4th. Still on the title page and at the end, some woodcut illustrations in the text, numerous underlinings and ancient manicula in the text, title page and last sheet detached, small lack in the title page, missing a8 supplemented with loose handwritten sheet, small woodworm hole in the white inner margin, plus intense in the last issues, light water gorge at the lower edge of the last issues, some slight flowering and small stains, later leather binding, dry geometric impressions on the plates, lacks, defects. Stamp of belonging to the title page.
Specialist Notes
First Aldine edition and one of the last publications by Aldus Manutius still alive. An interesting collection of classical texts dedicated to agriculture: much attention is paid to viticulture techniques.
