Front door in full-page engraved figured architectural frame, 20 plates engraved in the text (out of 21), initials and woodcut friezes, end mark, reinforcements, various papers and partially detached files, cc. O2-7 and 2R1, browning and blooms mostly marginal and some signs of humidity in particular on the first cards that have small marginal tears, half leather binding with corners completely detached from the body of the files.
Second edition of this well-known Italian work on hunting; only in this edition is there the addition of the fifth book of the villa, which deals with agriculture with references also to food. The plates from the first edition of 1621 have been replaced here with slightly larger illustrations.
