Heavy, octagonal, rifled, 18 mm cal barrel; in the powder chamber a gold escutcheon and a ‘H’ mark; at the nozzle, a silver foresight and a rear sight now missing. A fine miquelet lock with an engraved plate and a patch mark in the centre; waterproof pan. Walnut full stock, with fluted butt and checkered grip. Smooth brass mounts. Original brass-tipped, iron ramrod.
