length 80,8 cm.
Wide, slightly curved blade, with fuller along almost its entire length and with a thin groove next to the spine in the central segment. Signs of cleaning and pitting. Blade length: 66.5 cm. Bronze hillt with flat guard perforated at the spine (one small crack) equipped with two thick, counter-curved additional quillons, one of which is bifurcated. Slight traces of gilded finishing. Long cap. Handle with probably antique leather covering, featuring a spiral of metal wire binding. Scabbard with old black leather bearing signs of use and age and unstitching on the back; brass-type mounts with patina. A movable lug and a small button, both on the cap. Fair to good condition. Period 1780 / French Revolution.
