Smoothbore, two-stage, squared and round, 12 mm cal barrel with grooved and beaded frame at the girdle, above the firing chamber the gold-plated ‘PISTOIA’ mark Lock with flat plate, hammer and batterie, beautifully engraved with floral motifs. Sliding pan. Full walnut stock (a small missing part near the butt plate), with carvings and frames on the barrel. All brass mounts with engravings en suite. The back with an engraved cartouche. Horn-tipped, wooden ramrod with iron cartridge extractor.
