Smoothbore barrel with two stages, square with thin fluting on the sides and then round, with rings at the girdle; the first segment engraved with circles and floral motifs, partly with remains of gilding, beautiful broad sight in silver; silver rear sight with ray decoration and remains of gilding. Flintlock with flat plate, engraved in the centre with an antique figure with sword and helmet, moving in a camp; the tang features a human figure with a sword on a trophy; the hammer's and batterie's base are decorated with sphinxes, volutes and grotesques; the hammer spring and dog jaw are also engraved; inside, the signature and date ‘Giuseppe Guardiani Anghairi 1794’. Half wooden stock with a barrel carved with floral scrolls, partly decorated with horn inlays decorated with silver nails. Unusual and beautiful mounts made entirely of horn, decorated with silver inserts; counterplate with animals, trigger guard with guano equipped with rifle and floral decorations, elliptical medallion on the back with bust, upper tang of the butt plate and decoration of the front loop of the ramrod with female bust. Replaced wooden ramrod.
