Thin, straight, double-edged blade of hexagonal section; at the base engraved and gilt on a blue background with trophies, Savoy eagle, motto (not clearly legible), and floral motifs. Brass hilt, the shell-guard with a Savoy eagle between a stylised anchor and a caduceus. S-shaped quillon, loop-guard decorated with leaves; shaped as a lion's head at the ending and at the pommel. Wooden grip with mother-of-pearl grip scales. Without scabbard.
