Slightly curved, single-and-false-edged blade with thickened back, the forte etched with the royal monogram beneath a crown and floral motifs. Gilt-bronze hilt featuring the same pierced monogram among the guard branches; the rear with a folding valve, also pierced. Long cap decorated with grooved leaf design. Wooden grip covered with fish skin with metal wire binding. Leather scabbard with gilt and engraved brass mounts and two suspension rings.
