Wide, slightly curved single-edged blade with false edge, double fullered; after about one third of the length, the dorsal fuller branches into two, only one of which continues to the foible. At the base are faint remains of engravings, among which the crowned letters “TC” (for Karl Theodore, Elector of Bavaria) can still be read, along with a design that may resemble either a mirrored floral motif or a “C” at the bottom. Iron hilt with knuckle guard and two side branches, counter-guard with scroll. Angled pommel with long cap. Wooden grip carved with oblique bands (crack and small losses). Iron ferrule with five grooved rings. The iron elements show rust. Leather scabbard (defects) with iron locket fitted with a heart-shaped button; the chape is missing. Rare
