Straight, tipped and single-edged blade with a double fuller on the entire length, with three marks at the forte, two of which are legible (“B” under a star and “L”). Marked on the back with the royal Klingenthal factory mark and the date “November 1814.” Brass hilt with two loop-guards, one of which is divided into three thinner loop-guards (an old repair probably made during the period of use on the main loop-guard). Short cap. Grip with leather sleeve (very well preserved, antique?) and copper wire binding. Slight signs of use and time. Iron scabbard with two lugs.
