Burgonet with skull consisting of a single piece, fitted with a medium-height comb with a twisted edge. Peaked and centrally ribbed brim, with a roped and roped and twisted edge. Remains of a stamp (only partially visible, probably from the Nuremberg arsenal). At the base of the skull a row of rivets with iron heads. The neck guard secured with rivets and roped en suite with the brim. Fine hammer marks visible on the interior of the skull. The cheekpieces probably old, with fine hammer marks and with roped edges continuing neatly the profile of the neck guard. Four piercings on each ear-plate. Remains of old leather lining inside. Breastplate ribbed along the centre and with a very pronounced tapul, provided with clavicular ridges and bearing a clearly visible Nuremberg mark at the top; the neckline with a thick, twisted, roped border, the pauldrons secured by rivets, their arm openings roped en suite with the neckline. Three-plate backpiece, the last plate with a centrally shaped and roped profile. Interior with bituminous finish refreshed at a later date and restoration leather strings. Backplate worked at the edges with a recessed band, thick roped and twisted borders, and two rear loin guards (the central one probably a later assembly or restoration). Restoration leathers. With a pair of seven-plated tassets fitted with smooth borders. Armour assembled with taste, using quality elements of the period.
