Original cel on painted background made by the Disney Studio for the 2nd Disney Classic "Pinocchio" produced by Walt Disney Productions in 1940. In this extraordinary underwater sequence, in which Pinocchio, in search of his father, encounters countless sea creatures, there are 8 shaped cels depicting 14 sea creatures including fish and crustaceans, as well as 1 sheet of painted cel with an algae and dozens of small bubbles. The work was mounted on the painted background by the Courvoisier Gallery in San Francisco at the request of Disney, so as to give fans the chance to own a piece of animation history.
