GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The 1964 Lancia Flavia Coupé 1.8 is one of the most important Lancias of the 1960s, introducing highly advanced technical solutions for the time, designed by engineer Antonio Fessia: front-wheel drive, an aluminum boxer engine, and disc brakes all round. The coupé version, designed by Pininfarina, arrived in 1963 with elegant lines and true grand tourer proportions. The 1.8-liter engine, producing approximately 90 hp, ensured a smooth, comfortable, and very safe ride, geared more toward long journeys than pure sportiness. Just over 13,000 units were built, making it a highly sought-after classic today, appreciated above all for its technical refinement and timeless style.

LOT DESCRIPTION

The owner has restored and maintained the car as if he were going to keep it forever. He would like an enthusiast to purchase it who can appreciate what has been done. The fuel tank, muffler, and water pump were replaced immediately after purchase;
The bodywork, as shown in the photographs, was stripped to its bare metal, rust-damaged parts were repaired, and it was repainted in the original Lancia color "Tor di Valle gray," reassembling the windshield, rear window, and side windows, after replacing all the gaskets. The chrome parts were performed by a specialized workshop.
The engine was rebuilt by a Lancia mechanic from Turin (Barone) while the timing was set up by another Lancia mechanic, from Cusano Milan (Donzelli) who recently passed away.
The original upholstery was restored, as was the original tobacco-colored leather upholstery. The seats were dismantled, their structure sandblasted, painted, and restored with sackcloth. The leather was re-stitched in the previous holes, after replacing the padding, which had largely crumbled. The mechanical parts—brakes, suspension, chassis, and electrical system—were restored by Clerici (father Gilberto, son Stefano, and grandson Alessandro) of Villa Guardia (Como), a specialist in vintage Lancias, including replacing the gearbox/differential.
The car is inspected until March 2026, has the original license plate and booklet and is delivered with
• original use and maintenance manual;
• list of all car components with reference numbers (necessary for searching and purchasing spare parts);
• mechanics' manual (necessary for repairs and all adjustments).
