dating: 1874 - 1889 circa provenance: Kingdom of Italy, Rifled, octagonal, 10.8 mm cal. barrel, with foresight. Clean bore, visible rifling. Six-shot cylinder. Working mechanism in single and double action, marked 'GLISENTI BRESCIA' with clearly visible stamp. Crowned 'GG' and 'FB' mark. Checkered wooden grips. Antique bluing? Ring for the strap. In 1874, Italy adopted a new centerfire revolver based on the Chamelot Delvigne French system, the supply of revolvers was mainly covered by Pirlot Fréres and by the production of the Italian manufacturer Glisenti.
