dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Milan, Octagonal, smoothbore, 16 mm cal. barrels, engraved at the edges, the upper one with foresight; vertically grooved pistons at the base, engraved tangs and provided with a sight; backward spring locks signed 'Colombo' and, on the other side 'in Milan' among finely engraved floral motifs. Wooden butts with beautiful geometric carved decorations (small lacking parts). Iron mounts engraved en suite. Trigger-guards with finger rest. Butt-plates with suspension ring. Brass-tipped wooden ramrods and iron cartridge extractors. In a non pertinent wooden box re-covered with dark green velvet and provided with various tools and keys. Guns of good quality like all the products by the famous Milanese gunsmith. length 30 cm.
