dating: 1860-70 provenance: Swiss, Round, rifled, 10,4 mm cal. barrel at the nozzle, with foresight, numbered, with adjustable rear sight, octagonal breech marked 'BF', crowned 'P' and with stamp of the Liege test bench. Bore needs cleaning, visible rifling. Forward spring lock, with crowned 'BF' mark and marked 'BEURET FRERES A LIEGE'. Working mechanism. Wooden full stock with a few woodworm holes. On the butt side an old, long label with handwritten inscription in ink. Iron mounts with remains of antique browning. Socket bayonet with leather scabbard with brass fittings. length 132 cm.
