dating: 1850/60 provenance: Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, Rifled, round, 17,7 mm cal. barrel, with octagonal base (partially visible grooves, very dusty bore, needs cleaning), with foldaway and adjustable rear sight up to '1000', provided with clutch for the bayonet (marked '803'), with remains of marks and breech markings not clearly legible. Backward spring lock signed 'A. FRANCOTTE LIEGE'; wooden full stock with brass and iron mounts. The butt plate marked '11.B.C. / 4.C. 25.' Some pitting to iron surfaces, signs of use and time. Iron ramrod. Rare. length 125 cm.
