dating: Late 18th - Early 19th Century provenance: Turkey, Smoothbore, round, 16.5 mm cal barrel, richly decorated with floral carvings on the first segment, featuring a a Tughra-type mark on the left side. Modern-style lock with slightly rounded plate carved en suite with the barrel and with remains of gilt bottom. Working mechanism. The stock fully lined with metal foils finely worked in relief with dense raceme patterns on a dotted background. All the foils featuring most of the antique gilding. Mounts worked en suite. Turban-shaped pommel. The handle covered with silver wire binding. The muzzle ring with the typical fake ramrod. length 50 cm.
