COLLECTION OF LOTS

The awarded lots can be collected at one of our offices in Milan and Rome upon communication no later than 10 days from the day of the auction.

We remind you that (as in our conditions of sale) the lots can be collected by the buyer or by a third person with a signed authorization form (download here authorization form) can be done only after the payment of the total amount due to the auction house.

At the time of the collection, Finarte will ask the buyer or the third party to provide a document certifying his identity.

Before coming to our offices for the collection of the lots, please check with Finarte where the goods are stored: in fact, please note that in case of missing communication after 10 days from the day of the auction the lots sold could be moved to an external warehouse.

SHIPPING OF THE LOTS

If it is not possible to pick up the items at one of our locations, we can arrange for the packaging and shipping of the lot through our partner courier, SSHIP SRL, provided that the Buyer has paid the total amount due in full and that the items are not valuable (jewelry and watches) valued at over €70,000, for which we recommend consulting the relevant section.

Please note that SSHIP SRL is an independent company from Finarte and the payment for shipping must be made separately from that of the lots awarded at auction.

Alternatively, you can also organize a shipping through your personal courier. Also in this case the courier must have a signed authorization form (download here authorization form).

SHIPPING OF PRECIOUS GOODS (JEWELS AND WATCHES) OVER 70.000€ OF VALUE

For precious goods such as jewels and watches, it will be possible to organize the packaging and shipment of the lots through one of our partner couriers specialized in precious goods. For information and quotes contact:

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Finarte reminds you that for the export of works that are over 70 years old, Italian law requires a certificate of free circulation to be required. The waiting time for the release of this documentation is approximately 40 days from the presentation of the work and related documents to the Superintendency of Fine Arts. Failure to issue or delay in issuing the license does not constitute a cause for termination or cancellation of the sale, nor does it justify the late payment by the buyer.
