Vacheron Constantin 222 was launched in 1977 to commemorate the brand's 222nd anniversary, becoming one of the most iconic wristwatches with integrated bracelet, together with its competitors Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and Patek Philippe Nautilus.The model was produced in stainless steel, yellow gold, or stainless steel & yellow gold, in extremely low production numbers and for only seven years. Research shows that the steel model has been made in less than 500 pieces."
