Specialist Notes

Reference OT988, along with its twin reference CK988, is considered to be one of the most beautiful chronographs ever made by any watch manufacturer; It is an exceedingly rare model, iconic thanks to its oversized 37mm case, an unconventional characteristic for its era, and its historically important caliber 33.3, which was originally produced in 1933 by Lemania. The present watch features a head-turning black ""aviator"" dial, one of the most sought-after versions by collectors. It has been consigned by the family of the original owner, who did purchase it on a ship returing from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.Remark: Watch to be serviced.
