€ 20.000

Sold

€ 126.000

Information

18k gold round case, n.56181, rectangular pushers, faceted lugs.
Champagne dial, multi-scale, painted indexes and arabic numerals.
Hand-winding movement.
Leather strap and Rolex gold plated buckle.
Size: 35 mm.
Notes: Reference 3802 is probably one of the rarest pre-Oyster Rolex chronographs ever made by Rolex. Produced in the 1940s, it features a 35mm case which was unique for Rolex during this period, thanks to its very thin bezel and long faceted lugs; its twelve-hour register was an uncommon detail at that time as well.
