Information
Wooden theatre with paper curtain made in Germany. It bears the name of Giuseppe Verdi and his effigy. Complete with 65 boards printed on four-colour paper to be used as backdrops and wings of 24 different settings. They were mounted on a wooden frame: the plates were made by the company J.F. Schreiber of Stuttgart, some plates are signed by Theodor Guggenberger (1866 - 1929) a theatre painter. Both interiors and landscapes are depicted.
