Eros becomes a symbol, an image and a narrative in an auction that celebrates three of the most influential figures in Italian erotic comics.
This auction brings together original artboards and illustrations by Giovanna Casotto, a master of glamorous and refined eroticism; Nik Guerra, known for his dynamic and sensual style; and Roberto Baldazzini, an artist who has made the elegance of his linework and aesthetic refinement his hallmark.
Three artists, three sensibilities, three interpretations of eroticism in contemporary comics. Each work explores a different facet of desire, offering collectors the opportunity to engage with three creative journeys that have left their mark on the history of illustration and art comics.

Finarte consolidates and renews its collaboration with Urania Casa d’Aste by preparing in synergy the next auction dedicated entirely to the original Tables and Illustrations by the great masters of comics.
The sale will take place in October in the prestigious Roman headquarters of Finarte, for which our experts are selecting works from the early 1900s to today, ranging from Disney tables to superheroes Made in USA, from great international masters to erotic tables, from illustrations of the early twentieth century to the cinematographic sketches.
The works will be presented in the catalog with an accurate historical-critical filing, which tends to present and enhance the individual lots in the best possible way to ensure their visibility and the best sales result. The auction will be preceded by an exhibition in Rome, to offer collectors the opportunity to carefully examine all the lots, presented and enhanced by the splendid setting of our exhibition site.
