Historic issue marking the first appearance of Puppet Master and Alicia Masters in Prisoners of the Puppet Master!, the fourth consecutive issue of the series with prisoners or captives in the title.

The five-part saga features the Puppet Master using his radioactive clay to control the Fantastic Four and orchestrate a complex infiltration attempt at the Baxter Building. The story culminates with the villain's presumed death, while the protagonists regain control of themselves.

A key issue for Silver Age collectors, introducing two characters destined to become iconic in the Fantastic Four mythology.
