Iron hilt, quillons curved downwards with spiral-shaped ends and outer quillon with reinforcing ring; lower ring-guard with thumb ring; well pronounced twisted pommel of ovoid shape, the centre of each rib engraved with double lines. Wooden handle with two rings at the centre and other single rings; it perhaps keeps 40% of the original black leather binding. This lot is imported from a non-EU country and incurs additional taxes beyond the auction house commission and the V.A.T.
