The Nike Air Max 1/97 Sean Wotherspoon was created by ... Sean Wotherspoon, one of the world's most passionate collectors of vintage shoes and apparel, who won the 2017 Vote Forward contest.
The winning design reflects his passion for '80s culture, with inspirations coming from old Virginia (where he was born) and Los Angeles corduroy hats, but also from two of his favorite senakers: Air Max 1 and Air Max 97.
