First edition of this text dedicated to the determination of molecular weights, included in volume XXVI of the Memoirs of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Turin in 1821. The treatment is set in the context of the fundamental research of the Turin mathematician Amedeo Avogadro on the structure of matter and the relationships between chemical combinations.
