dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Borneo, Curved, single-edged blade with carvings and open-works at the base and on the back, near the weak, brass-inlaid circular decorations on both sides. Carved wooden hilt, the base covered with vegetable fiber wire binding. Without scabbard. West Borneo and Sarawak. Typical sword of the late Brooke Era. length 69.5 cm.
