dating: circa 1900 provenance: Borneo, Straight, single-edged blade with small carvings at the back, slight spiral carvings and one side with brass inlays. Deer-horn hilt with rattan wire binding and richly carved pommel, remains of horsehair. Partially carved wooden scabbard with bands and rattan wire binding, behind scabbard for the missing Piso Raut. Provided with braided vegetable fibre suspension. length 64 cm.
