dating: 19th Century provenance: Sumatra, Strong, single-edged blade of triangular section, slightly enlarged at the back, carved at the base, rectangular tang. Horn grip with angled pommel shaped as a stylized bird's head, a metallic rivet as an eye. Silver-inlaid ring nut with filigree at the edges. Elegant, wooden scabbard with silver-inlaid mounts, the cap decorated with an undulated, copper hilt and with a band in filigree. An interesting and rare lot. length 58 cm.
