dating: 19th Century provenance: Borneo, Solid, single-edged blade with carvings at the back, towards the weak. Finely carved, deer-horn hilt, the openworks with spiral rosettes, the base with vegetable fiber braid, one of the two coins (?) made of silver (detached). Partially carved wooden scabbard held by fiber bands. With piso raout on the back, long wooden hilt with carved handle. Suspension rope decorated with colored beads and with wooden closing button. Bahau region, Kajan or Modang ethnic group. length 62.9 cm.
