Round, smoothbore, 15 mm cal. barrels (clean bores in good condition), with rib signed "J. Hofer in Bilgen", with a gold frame and engraved with a hound and a hare in a floral frame at the base, browned and with silver foresight; long iron tang beautifully engraved with floral motifs on a grey background and with broad sight. Very elegant locks with small oval and flat lock plates, signed "Joh. Hofer" and "à Bilgen", with oblique border engraved with floral motifs, the cocks carved and engraved with floral motifs and with a curl on the back, the pistons resting on bases carved as a turban. Briarwood wooden half stock with finely checkered palm rest and base, a frame of small silver-inlaid stars around the locks, a repeating decoration at the edge of the checkering on the base, a mother-of-pearl flower on the left and right sides. Iron mounts finely engraved with floral motifs. Brass-tipped iron ramrod with iron cartridge extractors.
