dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Avignon, Rifled (clean bore, visible rifling), octagona, 13 mm cal barrel, marked '3' in gold at the base, precision sight; tang provided with a lid and marked en suite. Forward spring lock signed 'T. Chaponen a Avignon'; wooden half stock with checkered butt and iron mounts, trigger guard with finger rest. Trigger with set trigger. Cased weapon, therefore without ramrod. length 42 cm.
