dating: Mid 20th Century provenance: Papal States, Made of black coypu with black fabric chevron, white plumage, gilded threads noose, white - red silk cockade, golden button with red enamel crosses, inside black sweat-band and silk cap imprinted with Pope Pius XI's coat of arms. Together with a black velvet bib with silver embroidery and all its golden buttons with red enamel crosses. In its original zinc-coated steel plate box. height 12 cm.
