dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: India, Elegant, double-edged blade made of damask, of medium width with reinforced tip and ribbed in the middle, engraved cannelure at the centre, on the sides two deep grooves, carved at the base with a gilded flower. Grip of typical shape with double crossbar strongly enlarged in the middle and with stylized and pierced animals on the sides, side bars with beautiful gilded floral decorations (small missing parts) partially worked in bas-relief. length 42.5 cm.
