dating: i Period (1868-1912) provenance: Japan, Made of iron, nade-kaku-gata, hira-zogan in gold. Decorated with two mon of the same type, one in positive, the other in negative, on both sides. The edge decorated always hira-zogan in gold depicting dragons on clouds. Kozuka and kogai hitsu-ana. Uchi-gaeshi-mimi (0.65 cm). Meiji period, late 19th century. Illustrated and described in Japanese, English and German in 'Tsuba' by Günther Heckmann, H.U.B. Verlag Nürtingen, 1995. No. T141. dimensions 8.8 x 8.3 x 0.55 cm.
