Rifled (bore with encrustments, visible rifling) round, 17 mm cal. barrel, octagonal at the base; marked "1821 C DE 17 CA", "1842 251 309" and with various marks at the first part; with foresight; tang with model inscription and rear sight. Lock converted to percussion signed "M.re Imp.ale de Tulle" and with marks "C" under crown, "G" and "V" within rhombus; marked "L 137" on the back. Wooden stock, date stamp "1842" behind the counterplate. Iron and brass mounts with numerous marks. Suspension ring. Iron ramrod provided with marks and date "1842". Rare.
