Straight blade of hexagonal section, with some pitting, particularly at the tip. The tang is also of hexagonal section. Iron hilt. The butt-plate consists of two richly carved and pierced valves featuring grotesque motifs, fishes, a trophy of armour and flags, and the effigy of a figure. One valve with missing parts. Pommel with a carved effigy of a plumed helmet on one side and an armour bust on the other. Guard with central knot. Spheroidal pommel, flattened at the top, and decorated with trophies of arms and armour. Smooth brown wooden grip. Pitting, signs of use and time.
