length 88 cm.
Thin, curved, single-and-false-edged blade, with wide, central fuller; the base, on one side, engraved and gilded on a blue background with sun and floral motifs, on the other side with the inscriptions "Vive Napoléon" and "L'Emp. de Fran:", divided by an imperial eagle on lightning bolts between floral motifs. Iron hilt with langets, loop-guard and short cap. Checkered, ebony grip. Complete with blackened iron scabbard with two suspension rings. Rare example.
