On the surface, a heart-shaped mark charged with the letter “M”. Short, matching parallel straps. Mounted on a probably later wooden shaft, provided with a metal shoe and a red fabric tassel. Typical rank insignia for officers and non-commissioned officers of the early modern period. Uncommon with bill-type head.
