A black-painted eagle in the upper part above the two plates: one painted with Schleswig-Holstein arms; the other with imperial eagle. Paintings with restoration. An enamelled plate in the lower part, with gilded monogram of Peter III. Minor defects to the tip and missing screws for the grip plates.

Specialist Notes
The Leib-Dragoner Regiment is one of the regiments brought to Russia by the Duke when he became Tsar under the name of Peter III in 1762. The Duke was born in 1728 from the marriage of Anna Petrovna, sister of Peter the Great, to Karl Friedrich of Holstei
