Straight blade of hexagonal-section with fuller at the forte, featuring the inscription “-N TO- -DO” (probably “En Toledo”) on both faces, together with other emblems, including a cross at the top of the fuller. Gilded brass hilt (possibly later). Broad hemispherical rain guard engraved with the motto of the Society of Jesus "Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam". Simple construction quillon, with rounded-head quillons screwed to the rain guard. Grip covered in brass sheet with remains of gilding, design similar to a wire binding. Spheroidal pommel with separate button. All elements firmly secured, without play.
